In her capacity as CEO of the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce, Sue fought for local commerce, forged vital economic alliances, and fostered a more robust environment for businesses. Serving for a decade as the Executive Director of the Chilliwack Hospice Society, she steers the organization through periods of significant evolution and escalating demand. Her tenure in hospice care underscores her conviction that empathy and human dignity are the cornerstones of effective leadership. Furthermore, her role as a founding member and Past President of the Federation of Fraser Region Hospice Societies helped unify and enhance support systems throughout the Fraser Valley.

Service is the thread that connects every chapter of Sue’s life. She has guided numerous community-focused organizations, acting as President of the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary Club and President of Soroptimist International of Chilliwack, where she focused on empowering women and creating opportunities for youth.
